Dr. Sarah E. Dickey is board-certified and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology in 2004 from Indiana University-Bloomington. During undergraduate studies, she worked as a Phlebotomist at the Community hospital and as a night nurse for a paraplegic student. She earned her Podiatric Medical Degree in 2008 from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, North Chicago, IL.

During her Doctorate, she continued working as both a Podiatric Medical Assistant and a Senior Phlebotomist at Children’s Memorial Hospital. Dr. Dickey completed a 3-year Residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Stroger Cook County Hospital, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Following her graduation from residency in 2011, she became an Associate at Windy City Foot and Ankle LLC, The Running Institute in Chicago. She developed her skills with musculoskeletal ultrasound and gained a lot of experience treating runners and athletes.  In 2013 she became Faculty at Loyola University Medical Center and Hines VA as an Attending Podiatric Physician and Surgeon and Associate Professor in 2015.

Through her professorship, Dr. Dickey became involved in the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association in 2013. Her work as Chair of Public Relations Committee and on the Board, as Director At Large, earned her to be elected to the Executive Council. She is currently President-Elect and will begin her term as President, of her State’s Society, September 2018. She enjoys promoting the Podiatric Profession on a State and National level and will continue to serve as a State Delegate for the American Podiatric Medical Association. In her pastime Dr. Dickey loves spending time with family, exercising (running or going to Pure Barre), and traveling.
