Dr. Rimi Statkus received his Bachelor of Podiatry in 2006 from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. He worked in Australia as an advanced podiatrist focusing on sports medicine and diabetic limb salvage for over 6 years before coming to the US to advance his surgical skills. In 2016, he completed his Podiatric Medical degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, before moving to Chicago to complete his surgical residency at Rush University Medical Center.

Dr. Statkus was born and raised in Australia. He enjoys traveling and has seen much of the Australian outback, Europe, and North America. On one of his many trips, he met his wife (of 6 years), Stephanie, in the outfield at a baseball tournament while visiting Canada. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, biking, watching sports, discovering Chicago and surrounding areas, and of course, playing with the family dog, Benji.
